Since 2005, Robert Mills of WaterWise Irrigation has offered a full range of residential irrigation service in Pierce County and South King County. In addition to irrigation design, installation, and maintenance, he now offers rainwater harvesting (collecting) and water features.
Bob became interested in landscape irrigation after being laid off after 35 years in the printing industry. He enrolled in irrigation design courses at South Seattle Community College and subsequently continued his training through classes offered by Ewing Education Services, other industry suppliers and manufacturers, the Irrigation Association, and the State of Washington.
His work complements his wife’s landscape design business (The Plant Mommy, LLC) and allows him to use his engineering skills to troubleshoot and repair existing systems, and design new systems using water-efficient technology.
He is a member of the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals (WALP) and the Bonney Lake Chamber of Commerce.
